District 5 Little League Associations Launch Elevation Baseball to Support Next-Level Player Development

District 5 Little League on Vancouver’s North Shore has announced the formation of D5 Elevation Baseball, a new collaborative development program designed for skilled players ages 13–14 who have chosen the Little League Intermediate or Juniors divisions as their baseball pathway. 

Elevation Baseball builds on a long-standing tradition of cooperation among North Shore leagues. For many years, players from Mount Seymour Little League, Lynn Valley Little League, and Highlands Little League have come together to compete as Juniors All-Stars under the Mount Seymour banner. That successful collaboration demonstrated the value of pooling talent, coaching, and resources to better support player development at the teenage level. 

With the formal creation of Elevation Baseball, that collaborative approach now expands to include West Vancouver Little League, creating a unified District 5 initiative supported by all four North Shore Little League associations. 

Elevation Baseball is community-driven and rooted in Little League values. The program is intended for committed, development-focused players who wish to continue playing within the Little League system while preparing for the demands of the larger field and higher levels of competition. Elevation is designed to complement local league participation, not replace it, by providing structured development opportunities and All-Star level competition. 

The initial development phase of Elevation Baseball will begin in April 2026, with programming aligned alongside regular season play and extending into District 5 All-Star opportunities at the Intermediate and Juniors levels. 

District 5 leaders emphasize that Elevation Baseball reflects a shared commitment to keeping players engaged in Little League through their early teenage years, while recognizing the realities of multi-sport athletes and varying levels of availability during the spring season. 

By working together, the four North Shore leagues aim to provide a clear, development-focused pathway that supports player growth, strengthens community connections, and reinforces the collaborative spirit that has long defined baseball on the North Shore.
